Algimantas Valentinas Indriūnas

Algimantas Valentinas Indriūnas (born May 21, 1925 in Duokiškis near Kamajai , Rajongemeinde Rokiškis ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

From 1936 to 1941 he learned in Zarasai and Rokiškis . In 1941 he and his family were expelled to Altaj and in 1942 to Yakutia on Lake Laptev . In 1944 he graduated from secondary school in Ustyansk Raion . From 1944 to 1950 he worked as a cinema mechanic in Yakutia and Kaunas . From 1950 to 1958 he was director of the Kaunas cinema mechanics school. In 1952 he completed his degree in electromechanics at the Kauno politechnikos institutas . In 1981 he received his doctorate from Lomonosov University in Moscow . From 1975 to 1992 he taught the advanced training institute for leaders of the national economy. From 2000 to 2004 he was a member of the Seimas .

1959–1990 he was a member of the CPSU , from 1998 the Naujoji sąjunga .
