Algirdas Kopūstas
Algirdas Kopūstas (born January 3, 1949 in Ūlyčninkai , Rajongemeinde Ukmergė ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
In 1965 he graduated from the school Pašilė in Ukmergė and 1969, the pilot of Agriculture in Buivydiškės and 1973-1982 Agronomy at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija . From 1969 to 1971 he served in the Soviet Army. From 1975 to 1989 he was the head of the K. Požėla Kolchos . From 1999 to 2004 he was director of UAB “Atkočių agroservisas” and since 2004 mayor of the Ukmergė district .
He was a member of the Valstiečių ir Naujosios democijos partijų sąjunga and from 2005 the Lietuvos valstiečių liaudininkų sąjunga .
