Algirdas Kunčinas

Algirdas Kunčinas (born January 27, 1948 in Alytus ) is a Lithuanian politician and philosopher.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1965 with distinction, in 1970 he also graduated with distinction from Kauno politechnikos institutas at the Faculty of Vilnius in radio engineering . From 1975 to 1978 he studied at the postgraduate of philosophy at the Vilniaus universitetas and received his doctorate in 1982 on "Pažinimas kaip funkcinis modeliavimas" (Director E. Meškauskas and Bronius Kuzmickas ). From 1970 to 1975 he was employed as a teacher and from 1978 to 1985 as a high school teacher and lecturer at the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas . From 1985 to 1990 he worked at the Ministry of Science of Soviet Lithuania . From 1990 he taught at the Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitetas . From 1997 to 2002 he was a member of the Vilnius City Council . From 1992 to 1996 and from 2000 to 2004 he was a member of the Seimas .

From 1990 he was a member of the Lietuvos Demokratieinė darbo partija , from 2001 the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .
