Algirdas Pocius

Algirdas Pocius (born August 28, 1930 in Ketūnai , Mažeikiai Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician and author, writer and journalist.

Life

He learned in Seda . From 1950 to 1952 he studied in the Department of Lithuanian Language and Literature at the Teachers' Institute in Klaipėda . From 1952 he worked at Klaipėdos radijo komitetas as an editor, correspondent, from 1954 as a radio correspondent in Šiauliai , from 1955 in Vilnius , from 1956 in the magazine "Švyturys". From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas .

From 1960 he was a member of the CPSU , from 1990 of the LDDP .
