Ali Arslan

Ali Arslan (born April 12, 1947 in Tire , İzmir Province ) is a German writer and teacher of Turkish descent.

Arslan, who comes from western Turkey, completed a degree in pedagogy in Ankara . He has lived in Germany since 1981.

Since the early 1980s, Arslan has been publishing books in Turkish for German and Turkish publishers. His work as a writer includes novels, short stories and books for children and young people. Translations into German are available. Since 1993 Arslan has been a German citizen and a member of the Association of German Writers.

Arslan has two sons, lives and works in Hagen .
