Aliacensis is an impact crater on the front of the moon , east of Mare Nubium , southeast of Werner crater and northeast of Walther . The crater is heavily eroded, the interior largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the French theologian and astronomer Pierre d'Ailly (Latinized to Aliacensis ).
