history

The Alianța Moldova Noastră emerged in 2003 from the association of the Alianța Social-Democrată din Moldova ( German  Social Democratic Alliance of Moldova ), the Partidul Liberal (Liberal Party), the Alianța Independenților din Republica Moldova (Alliance of Independents of the Republic of Moldova) and the Partidul Democrat- Popular din Moldova (Democratic People's Party of Moldova).

In the 2005 parliamentary elections , the AMN ran as part of the Blocul electoral “Moldova Democrată” (electoral block “Democratic Moldova”) under top candidate Serafim Urecheanu. With 28.4% of the vote, the electoral alliance became the second strongest force behind the Moldovan communists (46.1%). After the elections, the party alliance broke up and the AMN formed its own parliamentary group with 23 (out of a total of 101) members of parliament.

In the parliamentary elections in April 2009 , she only won 9.8% of the vote. It formed the smallest parliamentary group with 11 members of parliament. After the elections, she took part in protests against the communist government , which was accused of election fraud. In the new elections in July 2009 , the AMN's share of the vote fell to 7.4%. In the 2010 elections , with just over 2% of the vote, she no longer made it to parliament. In March 2011, it merged with the ruling Partidul Liberal Democrat in Moldova .
