Alice Havers
Alice Mary Havers (* 1850 in Thelton Hall , Norfolk , † August 26, 1890 in London ) was a British painter and illustrator .
Life
Alice Havers grew up in the Falkland Islands and Montevideo because her father worked there as a manager . After his death she came to London in 1870, where she had received a scholarship to the South Kensington Schools . In 1872 she married the painter Frederick Morgan, with whom she had three children. During a stay in Paris in 1888, she familiarized herself with the new trends in French painting. Alice Havers died in London in 1890.

Alice Haver's work includes paintings with genre scenes, mostly rural life, pictures of children, religious subjects and much more. In addition, she designed series of postcards and made illustrations for books.
