Alka Vuica

Alka Vuica (born June 8, 1961 in Pula , SR Croatia , Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian songwriter and singer . She lives with her son in Zagreb and Umag . Her musical style can be described as a mix of pop , folk and Latin American music .

As a songwriter she wrote songs for many Croatian stars such as B. Josipa Lisac or Tajči . She herself was able to celebrate many successes as a singer with pop songs such as "Balkan girl", "Profesionalka", "Laži me" ("Lie to me"), "Od kad te nema" ("Since you no longer exist"), "Varalica" ("cheater") by Despina Vandi ( Spania ), "Mali" ("little one"), u. v. m.

She also tried her hand as a presenter with the show "Jedan na jedan" on "Nova TV". On the same channel, she commented on the Croatian celebrities in the program “IndividuALKA”, snappy and cynical.
