Allée couverte by Kerrohet

The Allée couverte of Kerrohet is located about 300 m from the village of Kerrohet on the Île de Groix in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France .

The gallery grave is still recognizable about 12.0 meters long and about 1.0 meters wide. It has two preserved ceiling panels and the cairn is still reasonably intact. A plate is to the east, a little further. On it you can see some small bowls (French cupules). A deep hole in a plate was only made during the Second World War .

Of the original 21 megalithic structures on the island, seven are still more or less preserved. The Dolmen of Port-Mélite is about 250 m away , others are Butten er Hac'h, Dolmen de Magouer Huen and the Dolmen of Kerlard.
