Scheme of a gallery grave

The Allée couverte from Trélan is located in Saint-Marcel in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France .

The gallery grave is located in the north of the city, only 100 m from the D10 road on a gentle slope and is made of slate and pudding stone , which occurs only about 200 m away. It is roughly north-south oriented with the entrance in the south. The north side is closed by an imposing slab. The length of the monument is about 18.0 m, its average width 1.5 m and its original height was estimated at 1.2 m. It has 16 lateral bearing stones, mostly on the west side, while those on the east side have almost all disappeared. Only two capstones have been preserved tilted. The usual filling of the chamber with earth or gravel did not take place here. Small slabs of slate in the vicinity are the remains of the external structure that held the hill together. The monument was placed under protection in 1964.

Nearby are the heavily disturbed facilities: Ensemble de Béhélec and Béhélec Dolmen .
