Allée couverte by Ty-Lia
The Allée couverte of Ty-Lia (also called Dolmen de l'île Renote or Ty-al-Lia) is a gallery tomb on the Île Renote peninsula near Trégastel in the Côtes-d'Armor department in France . The Île Renote was originally a tidal island , but since 1885 a road has connected the island to the mainland.
The Allée couverte made of pink granite has a garden function on the site of a large house on non-public land. The remains of the gallery are about 8.0 m long and only one capstone is still in place , another has fallen.
An investigation suggests that it may be a gallery tomb with side access ( French La sépulture mégalithique à entrée latérale ).
