The Canton Plonéour-Lanvern (Breton Canton Ploneour-Lanwern ) is a French constituency in Arrondissement of Quimper , in the Finistere region and in the region of Brittany .
history
The canton was created in 2015 with the reorganization of the cantons in France. The communes used to belong to the cantons of Plogastel-Saint-Germain (10 communes) and Pont-l'Abbé (6 communes).

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the six voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, the pairing Jean-François Le Bleis (UDI) / Jocelyne Plouhinec (Union de la droite) won against Jean-Louis Caradec / Liliane Tanguy (both PS ) with a share of the vote of 51.20% (voter turnout : 52.32%).
