The canton Landivisiau (Breton canton Landivizio ) is a French canton in the arrondissement of Morlaix , in the department of Finistère and in the region of Brittany ; its main town is Landivisiau .
history
The canton was established on February 15, 1790. From 1801 to 2015, eight municipalities belonged to the canton of Landivisiau. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, the number of municipalities rose to 19. In addition to the previous municipalities of the old canton Landivisiau, there were four more municipalities each from the previous cantons of Plouzévédé and Sizun and one municipality each from the previous cantons of Ploudiry , Plouescat and Taulé .

The old canton Landivisiau consisted of eight municipalities on an area of 131.69 km². These were: Bodilis , Guimiliau , Lampaul-Guimiliau , Landivisiau (main town), Plougourvest , Plounéventer , Saint-Derrien and Saint-Servais .
