Mairie Trézilidé

Trézilidé ( Breton Trézilidé ) is a French municipality with 382 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Finistère in the region Bretagne . It belongs to the community association Communauté de communes du Pays de Landivisiau . The inhabitants are called Trézilidéens .

The name Trézilidé is likely to come from the Breton word for locality ( treb ) and a previously unknown saint.

geography

The municipality is located in northern Brittany , about nine kilometers south of the Atlantic coast as the crow flies . Morlaix is about 19 kilometers east-southeast, the city and port of Brest 38 kilometers southwest and Paris about 470 kilometers east.

Via Landivisiau or Morlaix there are connections to the European route 50 , which leads from Brest to Rennes , as well as to regional train stations on the railway line that runs parallel to the E 50.

The Guillec River runs through the municipality .

history

Trézilidé emerged from the division of the municipalities of Plouzévédé and Tréflaouénan . The place was first mentioned in the 15th century. The church of Saint-Péran (built in 1767) and some religious symbols and relics date from the 17th and 18th centuries.
