Plouégat-Guérand ( Breton Plegad-Gwerann ) is a French commune in the north of Brittany in the Finistère department with 1067 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).
geography
The place is located in the north of Brittany near the Atlantic coast on the English Channel . Morlaix is 12 kilometers to the southwest, Brest 65 kilometers to the southwest and Paris about 450 kilometers to the east.
The river Dourduff runs along the south-western boundary of the municipality , in the east of the Douron , both coastal rivers heading towards the English Channel.

At Morlaix , the next exit is on the expressway E 50 ( Brest - Rennes ) and a regional train station is on the mostly parallel railway line.
