The place is located in the north of Brittany near the Atlantic coast on the English Channel . Morlaix is 15 kilometers southwest, Brest 65 kilometers southwest and Paris around 450 kilometers east.

The dolmen of Saint-Jean is located next to a field in the hamlet of Christ north of Guimaëc.
