The Canton Concarneau (Breton Canton Konk cores ) is a French constituency in the district Quimper , in the Finistère and in the region Bretagne ; its main place is Concarneau .

history

The canton was established on February 15, 1790. From 1801 to 2015, two communities belonged to the canton of Concarneau. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, the number of municipalities rose to 6. The municipality of Trégunc moved to another canton. To the remaining municipality of Concarneau of the old canton Concarneau all 4 municipalities of the previous canton of Rosporden and 1 of the 3 municipalities of the previous canton of Bannalec were added.
