The canton of Saint-Pol-de-Léon (Breton canton Kastell-Paol ) is a French constituency in the arrondissement of Morlaix , in the department of Finistère and in the region of Brittany .
history
The canton was established on February 15, 1790. From 1801 to 2015, eight municipalities belonged to the canton of Saint-Pol-de-Léon. With the reorganization of the cantons in France, the number of communes rose to 14. In addition to the previous communes of the old canton of Saint-Pol-de-Léon, 4 of the 5 communes of the previous canton of Plouescat and 2 of the 6 communes of the previous canton of Plouzévédé were added.
