Events
The MONDIAL FOLK FESTIVAL is held in Plozévet every year in the third week of August. Around 800 artists from a dozen countries and five continents meet here with around 30,000 visitors. 200 volunteers are available for this. There are festive events, concerts, parades, craft markets, aperitif concerts, guided hikes, exhibitions, etc., a total of a good 30 shows and demonstrations. It is also important for the organizers to give festival visitors the choice between entry-fee shows and free events; shows and events should be accessible to everyone.

Attractions
- Demet of Plozévet. The namesake of the church of Plozévet Demet is said to have immigrated from England / Ireland with his sister Edwette and then settled as a hermit south of Plozet on the coast. More than 1000 years later, the Chapel of St-Demet was built here in his honor. Local historiography assumes Sister Edwette died as AD 383, so her brother would have died in the same period of the 4th century. In the church of Plozévet a figurative representation of the now saint Demet was placed.
- The church of St. Thémet of Plozévet with its porch from the 12th century and an even older nave with Romanesque vaults. Particular attention is paid to the sources here. They belong to the oldest known sources of Finistere, or even of the whole of Brittany. You are under the foundations of this church. The spring sockets are visible on both sides of the entrance door. It is considered a feature that a water cult was celebrated here in pre-Celtic or Celtic times and was even baptized here. The two spring versions were later used to worship St. Galoneg and St. Demet, which in Breton mean "brave" or "brave". Saint Galoneg was an Irish monk and mothers spoke the following words to grant their wishes for their children: "St. Galoneg our children two hearts, heart of a lion, right and heart to like dove" (source: Guide 117 holy wells Britain (Bretagne), Daniel Spoerri at JMP). The Fountain St Théleau is also nearby. This fountain or its fountain surround contains two massive granite statues of Saints Saint Théleau and Delo, which are supposed to cure fever.
- The Chapelle de la Trinité (Trinity Chapel) in Plozévet, Rue de la Chapelle. This chapel is especially dedicated to the memory of the Breton missionary Père Manoir (1603–1683).
- The Chapelle de Saint Ronan from the 18th century. It is located in Plozévet, direction Landudec (D784), after about four kilometers turn right at the water tower, after about 1 km left. Behind the chapel is also a granite sarcophagus believed to contain Saint Ronan, a 6th century Breton saint. The chapel was restored in 1979.
- Monument aux morts- The memorial for the fallen of the world war. Here a simple peasant leans against a menhir in the middle of a sea of boulders. This farmer from Plozévet lost his four sons in the First World War. His fate is said to have given impetus to the law that exempts from military service those who have already lost a brother at the front. Steven Spielberg filmed a similar subject in 1998 in his film Saving Private Ryan (German: Saving Private Ryan )
- Calvaire of Saint-Demet from the 16th century in the enclosed parish of Plozévet
- The MenHir ar Clac'har Memorial with 45 names is dedicated to the victims of World War II in the region. It was inaugurated on November 11, 1950 in the enclose paroissial in the enclosed parish of Plozévet, Rue d'Audierne.
- A menhir with the head of a Bigoudène (this is how the region's inhabitants who wear a high hood are called) is dedicated to the Resistance . The sculpture with gentle, proud facial features comes from the workshop of the Breton sculptor René Quillivic .
- Monuments "Les sonneurs" à Plozévet. The duo, the two Bigoudens musicians, whistle or blow with the Breton shawm , the bombarde , and the bagpipes Binioù kozh . The bronze sculpture is the work of the Breton sculptor René Quillivic .
- Four du pain - historical oven from the 18th century - Plozévet
