Saint Mellon Church

Plomelin ( Breton: Ploveilh ) is a commune in the Finistère department in Brittany . The municipality belongs to the canton of Quimper-1 in the Arrondissement of Quimper . Plomelin has 4171 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), the French called Plomelinois .

Plomelin is about seven kilometers southwest of Quimper on the Odet River .
