Mellac ( Breton Mellag ) is a French commune with 3112 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Finistère department .
location
The place is located in the south of Brittany near the Atlantic coast . Quimperlé is four kilometers southeast, Lorient 23 kilometers southeast, Quimper 40 kilometers northwest and Paris about 450 kilometers northeast (as the crow flies).

At Quimperlé, the next exit is on the expressway E 60 (Brest- Nantes ) and a regional train station on the mainly parallel railway line.
