Pleuven ( Breton Pluwenn ) is a French commune in southwest Brittany in the Finistère department with 2987 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

The place is located near the Atlantic coast near Bénodet and Fouesnant . Quimper is ten kilometers north, the city and port of Brest 62 kilometers northwest and Paris around 480 kilometers east (as the crow flies ).
