Pouldergat ( Breton Pouldregad ) is a French commune in the Finistère department in Brittany with 1211 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). It belongs to the Arrondissement Quimper , the canton Douarnenez and the community association Douarnenez Communauté .

geography

The municipality is located in the west of Brittany in the Cornouaille region , a good five kilometers southeast of the city of Douarnenez on the Atlantic bay of the same name . Quimper is 17 kilometers southeast and Brest about 40 kilometers north (distances slightly rounded as the crow flies ).

Transport links

The closest exit on the motorway-like expressway E 60 ( Nantes -Brest) is at Quimper. Quimper station is a TGV Atlantique station and regional station on the TER Bretagne network . The Quimper-Douarnenez railway was closed to passenger traffic as early as 1974. The next regional airports are the Quimper-Cornouaille airport and Brest airport .
