Névez ( Breton Nevez) is a French commune with 2,661 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in Brittany . It belongs to the canton of Moëlan-sur-Mer , Arrondissement Quimper and Département Finistère . Névez is located southwest of Pont-Aven on the west bank of the Aven and on the sea coast.
In addition to the main town of Bourg , the municipality consists of several small villages, the larger of which are Le Hénan , Kerascoët , Kercanic , Kerdruc , Port Manec'h , Raguénez , Rospico and Trémorvézen .

Attractions
Sights in Névez include dolmen , the two castles Château du Hénant (15th and 16th centuries) and Château du Poulguin (16th and 17th centuries), the tidal mill of Hénan on the banks of the Aven from the 15th century, the 19th century church and several chapels: Sainte-Barbe (15th century), Saint-Mathieu (17th century), Saint-Nicolas (16th century), Sainte-Marguerite (16th century) and Notre-Dame de-la-Clarté (15th and 16th centuries).

economy
Névez lives heavily from tourism. It has several sandy beaches, there are a few campsites and numerous holiday homes in the municipality .
