Le Juch ( Breton Ar Yeuc'h ) is a French commune in the Finistère department in Brittany with 713 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). It belongs to the Arrondissement Quimper , the canton Douarnenez and the community association Douarnenez Communauté .
geography
The municipality is located in the west of Brittany , a good four kilometers southeast of the Bay of Douarnenez on the Atlantic in the Cornouaille region . Douarnenez is six kilometers northwest, Quimper 13 kilometers southeast, and Brest about 40 kilometers north (distances slightly rounded as the crow flies ).

The nearest exits on the motorway-like expressway E 60 ( Nantes -Brest) are at Quimper and Châteaulin . Quimper station is a TGV Atlantique station and regional station on the TER Bretagne network . The Quimper-Douarnenez railway line, which runs directly past the site and had a train station here, was closed to passenger traffic as early as 1974.
The next regional airports are the Quimper-Cornouaille airport and Brest airport .
