All Too Human is an American progressive metal band from Corpus Christi , Texas that was formed in 1995.

history

The band was formed in 1995 by bassist Maurice Taylor. A short time later, drummer Chris Lucci joined the line-up, followed by guitarist Chris McIuan in 1996. After that, the members went to the R / R Studios in Lake Jackson , Texas to make the first recordings. In 1997 singer Paul Vander joined the band. In May 1998 the band finished work on their debut album, which was released in August under the name Forever and a Day . After a few appearances, singer Paul Vander left the band in early 1999. Then guitarist Chris McIuan left the band and was replaced by Clint Wilson. At the beginning of 2000 Don Duzan joined the band as the new singer. Derek Sherinian ( Planet X , ex- Dream Theater , ex- Alice Cooper ) was the keyboardist . His keyboard recordings for the next album Entropy took place in his studio The Leopard Room, in Los Angeles . The album was released in February 2002. The album was distributed via Nightmare Records . In Europe the album was released through Steelheart Records .

In autumn 2004 the band performed at ProgPower Europe in the Netherlands , which marked the end of the band's first European tour. The band played four of the six appearances with the Dutch band Sanity . Cristian van Schuerbeck could be heard as the new keyboardist.

After that, the band worked on the next album called Juggernaut . In 2006, singer Don Duzan left the line-up, Steve Braun initially took over his post until a permanent member was found in Gordon Tittsworth.

The band plays classic progressive metal, which as a mix of Dream Theater and Symphony X is described.
