All The Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes is the third solo album of Pete Townshend and was designed by ATCO 1982 published.

The title of the album refers to the fact that western heroes have often narrowed their eyes in films.

The album includes Virginia Asthley , Tony Butler , Mark Brzezichi , Peter Hope-Evans , Jody Linscott , Polli Palmer , Simon Phillips , Dschingis Smith and Chris Stainton as musicians. The original plan was to insert the song Vivienne between slit skirts and uniforms . Shortly before the pressing began, it was removed from the album. In 2006, however, it appeared together with the titles Man Watching and Dance it away as bonus tracks on a CD remake of the album.

Pete listening time

The album Pete Listening time is a modified version of the album All The Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes from 1982. However, the songs are put together in a different order, and the songs are interrupted by short comments by Pete Townshend. All copies of the album, which was issued for promotional purposes in an edition of only 1000 albums, are autographed by Pete Townshend. The comments were recorded on June 15, 1982 .
