Allan Frewin Jones (born April 30, 1954 in Herne Hill , London , Great Britain ) is a British children's book and fantasy author .

Life

Allan Frewin Jones was born on April 30, 1954 on Walpurgis Night. Little is known about his mother, his father was a swimmer and taxi driver . He has a sister six years older than him. He attended Strand Grammar School first, then passed the Old Fashioned UK Exam and then received the Diploma of Higher Education . His hobbies are writing, making music and painting. He pursued these hobbies from elementary school and is still interested in them. He wrote The Faerie Path (Elf Night) and Warrior Princess . It wasn't until 1987 that his first book was published and with the success of Harry Potter by JK Rowling , Jones also found a publisher for his fantasy stories. His wife Claudia became the manager of a fruit and vegetable store (New Covent Garden Market). The two married in 2000 and currently live in Herne Hill .
