Allardice Castle

Allardice Castle (also Allardyce Castle ) is a manor house in the Scottish county of Kincardineshire (now part of Aberdeenshire ). Listed by Historic Scotland as a Category A Historic Building, this 16th century house is about 1.5 km northwest of Inverbervie and is the home of the Cowie family . The river Bervie Water flows around the mansion on two sides.

Allardice Castle can be seen as one link in the chain of coastal fortresses. To the north are the ruins of Dunnottar Castle , Fetteresso Castle , the ruins of Cowie Castle and Muchalls Castle .
