Allen John (born August 31, 1987 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German professional golfer . He started playing golf at the age of ten and went through several regional squads up to the national squad. Up until the start of his professional career in 2011, John also played for the St. Leon Rot golf club in addition to the national team . He played for Georgia State University in Atlanta , Georgia in 2008 . In his first year as a professional, John played on the EPD Tour and was eligible to play on the Challenge Tour for the 2012 season .

After a pubic bone injury that lasted two years, he was reamateurised and was eligible to play as an amateur at the beginning of 2015. In the next two years, in addition to the deaf world championship, he also won the gold medal at the Deaflympics
