Allison Buttress is a 2060 m high ridge on Heard Island in the southern Indian Ocean . It projects on the west side of the Big Ben and separates the Allison from Abbotsmith Glacier .
It is named after Robert W. Allison, a medic in the 1949 campaign of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions to Heard Island.
