Allison Daley

Allison C. Daley (* in Canada ) is a Canadian paleontologist specializing in the Cambrian Explosion .

Life

Daley received her BS in Biology and Geology from Queen's University in Kingston in 2003 and her MS in Earth Sciences in 2005 from the University of Western Ontario . From 2006 to 2010 she was doing her doctorate at Uppsala University . Her dissertation on the morphology and evolution of the Anomalocarididae received the Jan Bergström Young Geoscientist Award in 2015 . Then she was until 2013Postdoctoral fellow at the Natural History Museum in London . Since then she has been a lecturer at the University of Oxford ( St Edmund Hall ) at the Department of Zoology and a research fellow at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History .
