The alltours air travel GmbH (proper spelling route air gmbh ) is a German tour operator based in Dusseldorf in Dreischeibenhaus . Together with the tour operators alltours-X and byebye, it belongs to the alltours group of companies. The alltours group of companies is the fifth largest tour operator in Germany .

Business figures

In the 2017/2018 financial year, the company had sales of 1.4 billion euros and transported 1.7 million people to their holiday destinations. The alltours group achieved an operating profit before tax (EBT) of 42 million euros.

history

On January 15, 1974, a small travel agency of the same name was founded in Kleve by Willi Verhuven , who heads the company to this day, and was initially limited to North Rhine-Westphalia . In 1988 the route network was expanded to include all major German airports . This gave the company a large increase in travelers. Since 1991, alltours has been offering long-distance travel in addition to destinations mainly around the Mediterranean and to the Canary Islands. In 1999 alltours carried more than a million travelers for the first time. In November 2011, the company published a car travel catalog for the first time.

The group also includes a chain of around 200 travel agencies (Reisecenter alltours GmbH), the organizers alltours Flugreisen, alltours-x and byebye, alltours Reiseportal GmbH, alltours España as the owner of the Spanish allsun hotels and allsun Greece as the owner of the hotels in Crete as well the incoming agency Viajes allsun. The alltours hotel brand allsun has 35 of its own facilities in Spain and Greece . In 2011 alltours received the award for fair franchising from the German Franchise Association for the twelfth time in a row . In 2018, alltours Flugreisen was named the most family-friendly company from a customer perspective for the fifth time in a row in the tour operator ranking of “ Welt am Sonntag ”. alltours has around 3,700 permanent employees (March 2019).
