The Almaș is a river in Romania .

There is no city on the 68 km long river. It is accompanied by the Romanian national road Drum național 1G for almost its entire length .

The river has its source at Fildu de Sus. It initially flows off to the east, but turns north at Zimbor and flows southeast of the small town of Jibou into the Someș (Samosch, Somesch), which here changes its course to the southwest into a north.

The river has a catchment area of 830 km².
