Almantas Petkus

Almantas Petkus (born June 5, 1976 in Telšiai ) is a Lithuanian engineer, former politician, Vice Minister of the Environment.

Life

After graduating from the Telšiai Middle School in 1994 , he graduated from the Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitetas with a degree in transport engineering in 2005 . From 1995 to 1996 he worked at UAB "Vėtrūna", from 1996 to 1999 as a mechanic, from 2002 to 2004 at UAB "Transefektas" as director, from 2007 to 2008 mayor of the Telšiai Rajong municipality , from 2008 to 2012 a member of Seimas . From December 2012 until he was Deputy Environment Minister of Lithuania , Deputy of Valentinas Mazuronis in the Butkevičius cabinet .
