Almut Adler

Almut Adler (* 1951 ) in Oldenburg is a German freelance photographer and author.

Career

After training as a photographer in Oldenburg from 1968 to 1971, she studied graphic design at the U5 Academy in Munich from 1973 to 1976 . After traveling for several years through countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, North and Central America, Almut Adler worked in Somalia / Mogadishu from 1982 to 1985 and worked as a graphic designer for agencies and publishers from 1986 to 2001.

Since 2003 she has been running basic photography courses for women in Munich and organizing photography workshops in Spain.
Almut Adler was the first German female author to write six specialist photography books and in 2009 published The Female Eye, the first specialist photo book for women.
