Almuth Reuther

Almuth Reuther (* 1940 ) is a German cantor and organist .

From 1964 to 2003 she was the (second) organist at the Thomaskirche in Leipzig . From 1968 she also worked there as a cantor.

Reuther taught organ playing at the church music school in Halle / Saale . She gave improvisation seminars as part of the International Altenberg Organ Academy.
