Alois Huber (politician, 1929)

Alois Huber (born July 10, 1929 in Stron , Albeck municipality , † August 21, 2007 in Himmelberg ) was an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and farmer. Huber was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1984 to 1994 . His sister is the former liberal politician Kriemhild Trattnig . Her father Reinhold Huber was already committed to the FPÖ as regional chairman.

Life

After elementary school, Huber attended an agricultural vocational school and between 1952 and 1957 worked as a tenant on an agricultural business. Huber then bought a farm in 1957 and subsequently worked as a farmer. He was awarded the professional title of Economics Council.

Huber became involved as a local councilor in Himmelberg from 1958 and was active in the FPÖ as deputy regional chairman and regional agricultural officer of the FPÖ Carinthia . In addition, he worked as local party chairman of the FPÖ Himmelberg, was a member of the chamber council from 1971 and a member of the board of the Chamber for Agriculture and Forestry for Carinthia from 1981 and from 1976 held the office of deputy chairman of the agricultural promotion council at the office of the Carinthian state government . Huber represented the FPÖ between October 15, 1984 and November 6, 1994 in the National Council.
