Alois Ritter von Frank
Alois Ritter von Frank (born October 19, 1859 in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate ; † August 22, 1940 in Munich ) was a Bavarian civil servant, politician , President of the Munich Railway Directorate and from 1921 State Secretary of the Bavarian branch of the Reich Ministry of Transport .
Life
After studying law at the University of Munich , Frank joined the senior service of the Royal Bavarian State Railways in 1886 .
1899-1919 he was a member of the center parliamentary group and member of the Bavarian state parliament .
From 1918 he was President of the Munich Railway Directorate and from 1921 State Secretary of the Bavarian branch of the Reich Ministry of Transport. From 1924–1931 Frank was a member of the board of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft in this capacity . For the German Transport Exhibition in 1925 he was a member of the board of directors.
