Alper Canıgüz

Alper Canıgüz (* 1969 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish writer.

Life

Alper Canıgüz studied psychology at the Boğaziçi Üniversitesi in Istanbul. He worked as a copywriter for national and international advertising agencies.

In 2000 Canıgüz impressed the Turkish literary public with his first novel Tatlı Rüyalar . A German translation was published in spring 2014 under the title The Metamorphosis of Hector Berlioz .

In 2010 Canıgüz founded the website “Afili Filintalar” in a group of young authors. On this website are u. a. Murat Menteş , Emrah Serbes , Murat Uyurkulak and Hakan Albayrak involved.
