Alpha Academy is a German alternative rock band from Göttingen that was founded in 2007.
history
The band gave their first concerts in 2007, the year it was founded. Her debut EP The City Is Burning was released in 2009 on the Artist Station Records label, which was followed by a self-organized tour through the entire republic. The band also played as support for Tobias Regner and was signed by the booking agency Extratours. Alpha Academy switched to the record label SPV / Steamhammer and released their first LP The Promise of the Light . The album was recorded in Horus Studio Hannover and produced by Benjamin Schäfer and mixed by Mats Lipman. A music video was shot for the first single, Walls , directed by Dennis Hemstedt.
