Alphonse Boilly

Alphons Léopold Boilly (born May 3, 1801 in Paris , † December 8, 1867 in Paris - Petit-Montrouge ) was a French engraver and lithographer .

Alphons Boilly was a son of the artist Louis-Léopold Boilly (1761-1845). He was a student of Alexandre Tardieu and François Forster .

His brothers Edouard Boilly (1799–1854) and Julien Léopold Boilly (1796–1874) were also active as artists.
