Alt-Schanzerhof 2 (Korschenbroich)
The Alt-Schanzerhof 2 farm complex is located in the Glehn district in Korschenbroich in the Rhine district of Neuss in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The building was built at the end of the 19th century and entered the list of architectural monuments in Korschenbroich under no. 171 on February 14, 1991 .
architecture
It is a four-wing courtyard from the end of the 19th century. The western barn wing is half-timbered , the other buildings are made of brick . The brick house is built on two floors in three axes , with pilaster strips .
Despite minor changes, this courtyard has retained its original appearance. This courtyard complex meets the requirements of § 2 DSchG NW for entry in the list of monuments . It is important for human history as a cultural and historical testimony to the working and living conditions in the 19th century and for cities and settlements in the sense of local history. There are scientific, here architectural and settlement-historical reasons for their preservation and use.
