Old castle

The Old Castle is an Outbound Turmhügelburg (moth), 100 meters north of the point where the B 269 crosses the Neunkircher Bach, was in the park of the retirement home, west of Neunkirchen , in the municipality of Nohfelden in the district of St. Wendel in Saarland .

The motte was built in the 10th to 11th centuries and destroyed in the 12th century.

The castle hill, a dilapidated moat and a southern wall remnant still bear witness to the former castle complex.
