Old Lime Tree (Schwabach)

The Alte Linde is at least 280-year-old linden tree and a natural monument on Hördlertor to rule Straße in Schwabach .

Archival records connect her with the year 1768. However, botanists estimate their age to be much greater. Market merchants used to meet on the square by the tree next to the customs house at the entrance to the village.
