Old Mill (Latrop)
The listed old mill is located in Latrop in the Schmallenberg urban area, directly on the river of the same name . There is a forest workers' museum in the former mill.
history
In 1737 the old mill was built as an iron hammer by the Grafschaft monastery . A Karl Halberstadt from Friesenhagen took over the Latrop estate with his hammer in 1804. Later the mill was used as a grain mill .
The basement of the mill is a listed building. The upper floor was renewed by the village community. A forest workers' museum has been located in the building since 2003.

In the forest workers 'museum, historical tools, photos and documents are exhibited and the development of the place from a forest workers' village to today's holiday village is documented.
