The old mill of Döllnitz is a listed mill in the district of Döllnitz of the municipality of Schkopau in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the mill is listed as a monument under registration number 094 55066 .

The old mill in Döllnitz is a watermill built on the White Elster in 1644 . Later emerged next to the mill on the property storage , a military and a residential building. From 1870 the water mill was one of the leading wheat mills in Central Germany. This is how a villa was built on the property . There is a coat of arms on the water mill from the year it was built. The building began to fall into disrepair when operations ceased at the time of the fall . The flood events of the Weisse Elster in 2011 and 2013 also damaged the building, so that only ruins remain today. To commemorate the building's former splendor, a model was created and exhibited in the cultural garden .
