The old town is an old Slavic castle wall near Tutow in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is located southeast of the town about 100 meters from the federal highway 110 in the area of the municipality of Kruckow in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district .
The one and a half to two hectare facility served the local population as a refuge. The swampy valley of the "Quebbe" to the south and the valley of a tributary of the cuckoo ditch extending to the north offered natural protection. In the west and north, the "Old City" is surrounded by well-preserved, now wooded ramparts. The Feldberg pottery finds date back to the 8th and 9th centuries.
About 550 meters to the southeast is the Yugoslav castle wall " Alte Schanze " (Wallberg).
