Old Jewish cemetery Smíchov
The Old Jewish Cemetery Prague-Smíchov is a cemetery in Smíchov (German Smichow ), a district of the Czech capital Prague west of the Vltava River .
There are around 600 tombstones in the 1531 m² Jewish cemetery , which was laid out in 1788 . It was used for burials until the beginning of the 20th century and was finally replaced by the New Jewish Cemetery in Prague-Smíchov , which opened in 1903 in the Malvazinky Cemetery .
